Jack Morton
Manchester Eishockey, Inlinehockey, Inline-Skaterhockey ...Kurzbeschreibung
Beschreibung
Jack is a 2012 born (inline U12, ice U14) netminder from Manchester who has been playing ice/inline hockey for the past 3 seasons, first as a defender and more recently as a netminder. Competing in EIHA North Division 1 ice hockey league (games from Whitley Bay to Solihull) and BIPHA Central U12 and U14 leagues with games played out of Rotherham.
Ice and inline hockey is a very large part of Jack's life, playing an important role in supporting his autism as it is an outlet that he can push himself in a constructive way and is a step in him wanting to be a professional player and coach when he is older.
In addition to the standard league games, Jack aims to compete internationally when possible so far including: Spain (October 2023), US (August 2024) and Spain (2024). Which incurrs tournament fees and additional kit costs.
Being a netminder whilst a fun position (if you like to be hit with pucks at excessive speed) unfortunately requires a lot of protective equipment which comes at quite a cost, especially based in UK (we try to source from other countries when it can be economical to do so).
